Before Lonesome Road sucker punched countless Couriers with a mostly linear gauntlet of tanky af enemies, one human NPC that was an S-Tier yapper, topped off with three brutal bonus dungeons that were the in-game equivalent of shooting yourself in the foot(Courier's Mile, Long 15, Dry Wells) we got loaded on that Dead Money. And as I'm sure you all remember, our crew includes a megalomaniac you can only truly side with if you were enough of a douche to the NCR, a cybernetically modified mute assassin whose life was ruined by that same megalomaniac, a Nightkin that'll end up dead or as one personality, and The King Of Swing himself who ruined an innocent man's life. Who, if allowed to escape, will go on to ruin more lives in the pursuit of robbing more casinos blind. Yeah, as far as token evil teammates in the Fallout series go, Dean's up there with Strong and Gage. Hell, in his ending slide, he even has a classic ignored epiphany.

Though, at the same time, he does chip in very well if you get on his good side(the most notable thing being the disabling of the speakers during the final confrontation with Elijah). And he has been trapped in this gilded hellhole for over 200 years. I don't know, is it a bad thing for him to roam the wastes a free man? When the holidays are through, I'd like to hear what y'all would do with Dean.

The distance from nelson to canyon is more than 40 miles.

Off the bat in the base game alone we have Cazadors and Nightstalkers, both created by Big MT.

It also appears the spores were started there, leading to both the Vault 22 deaths and some of the deaths Randall Clark saw in the Honest Hearts DLC.

Of course much of what made the Sierra Madre what it has become is Big MT from the cloud, ghost people, even the bomb collars as Elijah took them and the idea from Big MT's unwilling prisoners used as Guinea pigs.

Then of course there is Lonesome Road, as the extreme weather is also thanks to Big MT, and one could argue that if Ulysses didn't meet what remains of the scientists there, let alone Elijah who he pointed towards the Sierra Madre, maybe he wouldn't have been able to activate any of the nukes. (Of course that wouldn't effect too much as our Courier would probably still have unintentionally set off the initial nukes).

I have a question the Sierra Madre is in or at least close to the legion territory right? So my question is what would they do about the SM, like the ghost people and the town?

I’ve been replaying New Vegas and reading over the wiki but am confused about where Elijah found out about the Sierra Madre?

Ulysses said that Elijah got the information from the think tank but the same source on the wiki (Patient log: Y-17) says that Ulysses told him about it.

Can someone who knows help me clear this up?

I've been wandering were the Sierra Madre is exactly ,ik all the dlc locations are all very close to each other but still have a little bit of distance,so I was wondering if it's still in nevada or maybe arizona and where its close to.

Currently playing fallout new Vegas and I don’t know who to side with in the main story line (NCR, legion, Mr. House, Yes Man) so far I’ve done all the missions for Mr. House because I want to get the flag duster from the lonesome road dlc but currently I’m liked by the NCR, legion, and the strip so I could go either way for everything. I stopped doing mr houses quests so far because I’m on the don’t tread on the bear and beware the wrath of Caesar so I don’t want to choose one faction just yet. Please fill me in or help me make a decision.

For several months now, I've been running a d&d campaign based on Fallout New Vegas, but some things don't translate all that well. I decided that the events of Dead Money should take place in a realm not part of the material plane, but I can't decide what realm is the best fit for the Sierra Madre. Anybody have suggestions?
