Somewhere far far away in the wastes of Europe a group of tribals are attempting to help a woman to give birth to her offspring. After some agonizing hours, all the breathing exercises, and pushing her body to the limits was finally worth it as she gave birth... to YOU!!! Congratulations!

You can't see nor hear but you can definitely feel the cold air brush against your delicate and wet skin. After your umbilical cord was removed you got handed to your mother, the smell of her is soothing as you gradually stop crying and calm down.

"Shh... it's okay, mommy is here." Your mother says as she holds you tightly against her chest, ensuring that she doesn't lose grasp of you while the group of tribals celebrate your birth with music and their makeshift instruments. Their leader approaches you and gives an approving nod and a gentle caress to your forehead before walking away to attend other matters.

The beginning of a warrior's journey...

Four years have passed and it is time that you start to learn how to survive the harsh wasteland...

You were taken by the hand by one of the tribal men, an instructor of many young yet to be warriors such as yourself, his name is Blue Raven. He reassured you and your mother that he would take great care of you and shape you into a strong warrior.

He led you far away from the tribe, and what seemed to you to be an eternity was in actuality just two hours of nonstop walking until both you and Blue Raven stopped.

Blue Raven turns around to face you and kneels down to be at your eye level before speaking in a warm tone: "You're tired, right? Heh, dont worry. We won't need to walk anymore, at least for now. We'll collect some 'Spark Berries' and while we're at it i'll show you how to identify them."

Your stomach Growls at the mention of berries. Obviously you didn't knew what Spark Berries were but since it had the word 'Berries' in the name it made your mouth water.

A couple of minutes later Blue Raven gestured you to approach him as he was near a bush with what seemed to be fruits of blueish green color... perhaps... Spark Berries..?

Blue Raven grabbed a handful of and plucked the stem out of them, making the fruit shoot out seeds that would temporarily glow and make a small popping noise. "These are spark berries and as you can see when I plucked the stem it spewed out seed that glowed a little and made a sparking noise. Those are edible and are very good to quench your thirst as they are sweet and sour and make your mouth water a lot. They're also good for digestion. You can identify them by their unique dark turquoise color. Wanna try one, little one?"

It seems as of late we’ve had a minor incident as a terrorist attack was carried out by the Mutant Rebel group called The Brotherhood Of Steel. These terrorists threaten our way of life and as such must be dealt accordingly! We are holding a mandatory volunteer draft! Sign up to protect your way of freedom!

Made a post of me roleplaying my character. Sort of forgot about it so this is somewhat of a fresh new post for it. You know the drill, everyone.

You come across a strange man in some yoga suit, he is doing yoga on top of a ruined car. You’d ask him why he is there doing yoga and he replies “This is a big world, there is many interesting places to do yoga.” He would ask you if you would like to do some yoga with him, would you? You said yes, cos why not?

You’d hop onto the hood of the car and start doing yoga moves, you feel more relaxed. Your blood is flowing more and you feel more alert.

Some super mutants shoots at the both of you, you both take cover behind the car, after you kill all the attacking mutants, David turns to you and says “OOOOOOOOOOOH MY, that felt good, my blood was pumping! Pumping! Pumping!”

You would look at him confused, him noticing your confusion, he would say “Why I like doing yoga in the wasteland is to relax, even while danger is around.” You would ask him if he is addicted to jet, he replies insultingly “No, no no no, I don’t take that junk shit man, I’m just a very laidback person.”

David tells you that he is gonna do some yoga again, thanking you for the help, he gives you 50 caps and sends you on your way.

Ok, full disclosure. I never visited the USA. All the data I am basing this first part of the campaign on come from Wikipedia and maps I found on internet.

Temporal setting: let's say between 5 and 10 years before New Vegas storyline

Starting point: new Orleans

Rule system: fallout RPG by modiphius

So our heroes come together in new Orleans from various walks of life. Point is, after se basic tutorial foolery in the city they get recruited to guard the first Union Gulf convoy from new Orleans to el paso. During the voyage there will be the usual interactions/fights (1 event per day I guess) and from el paso they go to the NCR and Yadda Yadda....

My questions are at this point

How long would be the journey?

Should we paso be already in NCR territory?I would hate to accidentally dump th in a legion camp

A little story i wrote about my Fallout 2 and Fallout NV Character, Leo

2241, Northern California

It was a beautiful Autumn afternoon, the leaves and the desert along with the skyline were meeting in the beautiful Orangey-Blue sky, however, just along this Beautiful region of Southern Oregon, was a barren wasteland near meters away from the peacefulness and seemingly prettiness of the since 160 years of an Atomic Bomb, which separated the Warriors from the Weaklings, the Martyrs and the Cowards. And i was among it all. I awoke, in the barren desert of Northern California, I looked around to see the indentations of Cactus's that had been there prior a many 160 years, i then looked dead in front of me to see a Sawed-Off shotgun pointed at my skull. My Vision faded out of blurriness, as i saw a man, Multiple men actually all armed, i tried to stand, but i was struck with ropes around my Legs, and a punch to the face by whoever was in front of me. “Times out, Hombrè” The man said, while closing a pocket watch while the shotgun remained over his shoulder. “Never should have been here anyway, seems like a blessing in disguise though, eh? Crossing through Redding, when a Merc run his mouth a bit too much.” He said while taking out a cigarette and putting it towards his mouth. it then all started to hit me, The night before, i was in Redding, looking for work, i stumbled into a saloon, with my handy pocket watch that was now in that man’s hand. A merc must’ve saw it and slipped up to the first bastard he saw, the one right in front of me. When i realized, i spat in his face, “Fuck you.” i say under my breath, he hits me yet again, “I don’t know who you think you are fucking with boy. Bad misfortune maybe? Your body will rot in the Arroyo, never to be found, it will be submerged under the sands, while Radscorpions eat you from the Inside-Out.” He cocks the Shotgun,” I will not kill you boy, i will make you suffer in these wastes until a desert critter, eats you alive.” His men start to chuckle maniacally. “Well i guess this is it, Gringo, you did good awhile keeping that watch, guess you just flashed it too much.” His men laugh even louder. “ Well let’s just see what the Wasteland will do to you, Bye Bye.” He puts the Shotgun to my hip, and pulls the trigger, My vision turns black, As it reappears i see a group of men turn and walk south, This seemed like where my tale ended… but it was just the beginning…. “Who is that shadow walking toward me?” I thought.

For whatever reason the vault Overseer has thrown you out from the vault (he didnt even tell you why, can you believe the jerk?). Its also been deducted from surface surveillance info, that bottlecaps is the most used, if not the only, currency in the wasteland.

From the time you were standing alone, outside closed vaultdoors with nothing but your vault suit on and a bag of 100 caps, youve already managed to make it to a nearby settlement... congratulations!

Between all the let down junk shacks and the fancier looking, although also in poor condition, repurposed pre war houses you find a general goods shop and being the pragmatict vault dweller you are you go inside there first and think about what purchase is gona up your chances of survival.

What are you buying? (Budget 100 caps, no barter skills, you have nothing but your vaultsuit on, and i guess also shoes of some sort)

The Assassin - Nene

Combination of Samurai Warriors characters Nene and Magoichi.

Melee weapons, sneak and lockpick with additional love for unarmed, science and repair. I'd say guns too but with her intelligence low it limits me somewhat so she's gonna enjoy the Ratslayer. House and Dead Money.

The Cowboy - Ash

Combination of The Man With No Name from the Dollars trilogy and Vash The Stampede from the manga/anime Trigun.

Guns, survival and lockpick with minors being repair melee and barter. Unsure about speech and sneak, but he'll definitely be using the Cowboy perk and related weapons only. NCR and Honest Hearts.

The Mad Chemist - Hartwell

Comination of Dwight Schrute from the Office and Walter Hartwell White from Breaking Bad.

Energy Weapons, medical and science with repair speech and explosives also beloved. He'll be using the Four Eyes perk so he'll be dependent on ED-E. Yes Man and Old World Blues.

The Mercenary of Mars - Maximus

Maximus from Gladiator and I'm unsure what else at the moment.

Unarmed, survival and speech with some melee weapons, sneak and barter. I believe melee only as well as little crits along with the Heavy Handed Trait will be fun. Caesar's Legion and Lonesome Road.

I find myself very unsure about things, traits mainly as I'm trying to make them all use different ones. No Kamikaze or Wild Wasteland or Old World Blues ones tho.

So, a new fallout rpg in pen and paper form has blessed our pre-apocalyptic world. Has someone here given it a spin? I am reading the manual and I find it very enjoying.

For my Chicago fallout game I thought of something:

What is there was an other enterprise that make Power armor?

Right now there is only west tec, that made all the pre war power armor and the enclaves that made post war power armor (from what I know).

Now I present to you: Power-Up! A startup located in Chicago, that make their first appearance in 2067, after the first set of T-45 Power armor is made. At last, after 8 years of work, Power up presents their first power armor named the PU-75, a pretty standard armor at a pretty cheap price for a power armor. It wasn’t an incredible sale, but it was bought by some private companies and even some rich individuals. 2 years later, when the bomb dropped, Power-Up was about to finish the prototype for their next power armor, that they said would be “Way better than a T-60” said the head of development. But because of the bombs, the construction of the PU-77 was never finished.

I also think it would make an amazing quest to finish the set of PU-77 power armor, and be the only one in the wasteland to have one!

Hey guys! I’m back!

So after your comments on my first post (you can scroll down the general and find it if you want, it’s not far) I’ve made some changes and I’ve added a few things of my own!

So, little recap: I am making a story for, maybe one day, this becoming a game and it would take place at Chicago in 2300.

Now there is two major factions, the Midwestern BoS and the Atlas (so this fits the lore a lot more and it’s would make the Midwest BoS canon).

There is a war ragging between these two countries, 9years before, in 2293, BoS declared war on the Atlas. They wanted all the Pre-War tech the Atlas had in their Vault, consisting of high tech military equipments but most importantly, the ressources and machines to produce them. Also, there was tales of Enclaves refugees that were hiding in Atlas territory, so the BoS had an other good reason to push back the Atlas, and finish the Enclaves once and for all. In this big conflict, Brotherhood managed to push back the Atlas, but they didn’t give up their lands creating a massive war zone where there is constantly some conflict, it is one of the most dangerous place in Chicago now.

In the middle of this ragging war zone, stand a city, named Old Joliet. Old Joliet is the last hold that the Atlas had in the region, being constantly in a state of fear and alarm for now at least 9 months, their only supplies coming from inside their walls or sometimes when Atlas troops makes a break into BoS territory and can provide help to the city for little time. Old Joliet was built in the perimeter of the old Joliet jail, having massive wall and plenty of space to work with inside.

Seeing the conflict that is ragging in Chicago, the Scourges took the opportunity to frequently raid some nearby Atlas territories making yet an other front to face. Because Midwestern BoS and the Scourge were fighting on the same side, they concluded a non aggression pact so they wouldn’t interfere during their operations.

If you're planning on organizing a Minutemen-like group on Fallout 4 anywhere, be warned. The Free States Milita group on Facebook was recently suspended and many of its members accounts were disabled as a result.

Even though the page and *some* of its members accounts were reinstated, let this stand as a fair warning if you're going to create a group anywhere for your Fallout 76 needs, especially if your group name contains 'militia' or anything related to organizing people to a cause. You may very well end up banned, temporarily or even permanently, from services due to it.
