Didn't give him the Andrew Ryan treatment(I don't have the GRA challenges DLC), I felt it would be more ironic to dress in Benny's duds and use Benny's pistol to do the job. Made him get scared by saying I'd lead Caesar to victory(I won't), and got a little worried when his obituary said that all of the knowledge he possessed was lost with his death, but then thought it was stupid of him to not write it down somewhere.
...
But holy fucking shitballs, did anyone else get chills when they heard his real voice for the first time? I mean, I knew what his real body looked like, but I never thought his voice was that awful. Man, next time I'll just shoot the antechamber the second I get to it.

So, imagine this, you're a good karma Courier who got the best endings for the Old World Blues DLC, who will focus on making the Mojave Wasteland a better place after the Second Battle of Hoover Dam. But... who should you have the Think Tank work for? Well, we can rule out Caesar's Legion because they hate technology (even though Caesar himself has a power fist and an Auto-Doc). Then there's the NCR, while they are the most technologically advanced faction on the West Coast, not all of its citizens are tolerant of former humans. And if someone figured out that Dr. Borous created the blights that are Cazadores and Nightstalkers, then people who had to put up with those abominations would likely try to kill Borous (and maybe the other scientists). Then again, they have hordes of robots and mutants at their disposal to protect themselves. Still, the NCR would probably have an uneasy alliance with the minds of Big MT. There's also the Independent route, but I was told that even with Big MT's help, the Mojave will still end up in a state of anarchy. But, who's to say it won't end? Of course, we couldn't leave out Mr. House, another influential pre-war figure who doesn't need a massive course correction to use his intellect to try and save humanity. Of course, in some of his endings, he does make questionable decisions (such as killing the Kings if they are convinced to stop fighting the NCR, which is pretty uncharacteristic of him since he flat out says the NCR are his best customers. And then there's the fate of Primm if they choose to accept the NCR when House secures dominance. I heard from Arcade that House exploits people, so that wouldn't be totally uncharacteristic of him. Still, it's a dick move to tax people to death just because they wanted protection.) Oh, and don't forget that Dr. 0 is absolutely envious of what House is able to accomplish. So yeah, it'd likely be another uneasy alliance. But who do you guys think the Think Tank should work for?
I mean, it's only really feasible if you ignore the drastic timeline differences between NV and The Outer Worlds. So, for the sake of the argument, let's do that.
If mr house was born in 2020 does that mean he grew up on skibidi toilet and lankybox
I thought I'd compile a list of references to prior games in a post so that others could share ones that I may have missed. Seen as it's still relatively new there may be ones that we have missed. Some may even have lore implications whilst others exist purely as nods to other media of a 25 year running franchise. I'll try to keep away from aesthetic references which are part of most games (i.e Fancy Lad Snack Cakes) but I will reference game specific items (such as Sunset Sarsaparilla) or if the aesthetic is relevant to the reference.
Fallout 1:
- A reference to the Vault Dwellers Survival Guide in Vault 33 which contains a Pip Boy variant of Tim Cain (Thanks to another recent user for finding this one)
- A direct reference to the story with the Water Chip in Vault 33 breaking.
- The Obelisk and Water Well from Shady Sands endings is visible in a flashback in Episode 8
- Bakersfield is the only location mentioned that could be taken as a reference given it becomes Necropolis.
- Colt 10MM Pistol is quite prominently wielded by Maximus, Thaddeus and also by Lucy (more so than the N99)
- Vault 13 and Vault 15 are possibly visible on the Vault-Tec Vaults Map of the United States during the Corporate Meeting.
- Leon Von Felden of West-Tek
- General location of the show is set within the Los Angeles Boneyard
- Vault-Tec Headquarters in Los Angeles which appeared very briefly in the intro of Fallout 1.
- Brotherhood Ideology is more similar to that of the Classic Games
- Code for Moldaver's Cold Fusion is the original release date of Fallout 1 (October 10th 1997)
Fallout 2:
- Reference to the President being missing. An indirect reference to the Poseidon Oil Rig (Known as Control Station ENCLAVE)
- What looks like a Chrysalis Highwayman is partially visible in Episode 3 near the Gulper lake. Though it's unclear if it is one.
Fallout 3:
- Capitol Post newspaper can be seen during one of Cooper Howard's flashbacks
- The Enclave experiment with animal behaviour is reminiscent of their Deathclaw experiment from Raven Rock (itself carried over from the Oil Rig)
- Billboards and Propaganda Posters from Fallout 3
- Snip Snip the Mister Handy has orange tinted eyes which are reminiscent of the Fallout 3 and NV Mr Handy design.
- One of the Vault experiments proposed during the Corporate Meeting correlates well to Vault 106 and it's white noise experiment
- Another proposed experiment correlates to Vault 87 and the FEV experiment.
- Norm uses the hacking mini game first introduced in Fallout 3
Fallout New Vegas:
- Sunset Sarsaparilla billboards (Twice)
- NCR Veteran Ranger Combat Gear in Episode 7
- A reference to a character's mother's profession being that of a Courier
- Nuka Cola Victory (first appeared in New Vegas as a West Coast Exclusive)
- Robert House (Self-explanatory)
- REPCONN and Julia Masters at the Corporate Meeting
- BIG MT and Frederick Sinclair at the Corporate Meeting
- A sly dig by Robert House that Sinclair "Could Lose Money By Running A Casino". Perhaps an indirect reference to the Sierra Madre.
- a photograph of Aaron Kimball during the Flame Mother ceremony
- New Vegas itself appears in the end credits of episode 8 (Including the Lucky 38, The Tops, Gommorah and the Ultra-Luxe)
- End Credits of Episode 8 show NCR Vertibirds and soldiers wearing similar armour to their standard combat armour in the Mojave Campaign.
- Cannibalistic raiders known as the Fiends. Could just be a name reference but it works.
- NCR propoganda posters and Flag (New Vegas version of the flag) in Vault 4
Fallout 4:
- T-60 Power Armour is prominent within the show. Characters seem a little surprised by it's appearence. It's possible that it was specific to the East Coast
- The Prydwen appears in multiple episodes. Implying it's destruction in two of four endings in Fallout 4 never happened.
The Commonwealth is directly referenced in name by Elder Cleric Quintus
- Assault Rifle from Fallout 4 appears closer to it's original design indication as a machine gun for power armour
- Minutemen Radio makes a brief appearance in Episode 7
- Serum that transforms people into Ghouls is similar to what happened to John Hancock in Goodneighbour
- Cryogenic Facilities feature heavily in the show. It was prominent in Vault 111 showing that Vault-Tec had access to the technology.
- Atomic Command Holotape
- Junk Jet appears in Episode 1
- Broken Assaultron in Episode 2
- A variation of the Gulper appears in Episode 3
- General posters and propaganda that appeared in Fallout 4
Fallout 76:
- Pip Boy 2000 Mark VI appears in the window of Ma June's Sundry
- Lucy references Reclamation Day which we first saw in Appalachia
- One of the Vault Experiments proposed in the Corporate Meeting correlates well to Vault 51 and it's AI overseer experiment.
Other References:
- Elder Quintus mentions that the Brotherhood used to rule the Wasteland (Unknown if it's a reference to the West Coast Chapter, East Coast, Midwestern or all three)
- NCR founding information correlates roughly to the Fallout Bible such as it's founding date.
- Unintentional reference to the "Loser Walk" in Fallout 1 where NPC's have a specific walk and posture which a small character in the show imitated almost perfectly.

Fawkes, Randall Clark, The Mysterious Stranger, and (To an extent) Cooper Howard are some of the best characters in the whole Fallout Canon. When you first see and/or hear about them, you might believe that "Not another enemy" or "Who's This", yet you get whiplash when you see them being cool to you
Fawkes is an FEV experiment who's mind was safe from the mutation and coped with the loneliness after he discovered a working terminal left in the isolation room he was imprisoned in, making him able to extensively study history, literature, science and other subjects, as the book files gave him a wealth of knowledge and insight.
Randall Clark Lost almost everything from the war, but instead of attacking and raiding he helped protect the inhabitants of Zion with all his strength
The Mysterious Stranger Help's every single Vault Dweller from The Vault Dweller in Appalachia to The Sole Survivor in The Commonwealth and maybe to LA across over 185 years and instead to killing you and going on raiding hunt, he helps save the planet, entire nations, and regions against the Brotherhood, Institute, Enclave, Mutants, and other vault dwellers
Cooper Howard Also lost everything and also discovered the plan to Nuck all of the world by Vault-Tec and his own Wife, and even with faults he ultimately helped Lucy to go to the City of lights to Robert House
These characters are to me, the Vim! soda of this wasteland

Why can’t Mr. House make a new platinum chip?
The chip has the Mk 2 operating system, what’s stopping house from making a new one? Sure, he still need the currier to install it at fortification hill, but what’s stopping him from distributing the Mk 2 operating system from a new storage device and upgrading all the secureatrons on the strip?
I’m currently attempting a NV Mr. House playthrough, do I still get the Mr. House version of the Courier Duster after doing some of his quests even if I’m idolized by the NCR?
Last playthrough I was gonna do a mr house playthrough but changed my mind and went with NCR.
This playthrough I was all like "all right this is the one. mr house is really smart and he has the intellect and ambition to techologically advance the wasteland and unite it."
But then I realized that house is just a really arrogant dude who while smart, can barely keep his own casinos from conspiring against him or eating their customers, needs almost as much help as the NCR, and he's extremely condescending and arrogant.
So anyways, ave true to caesar.
