I love that you do ONE thing for friendly NPCs, and they let you steal ANYTHING from them now.

"Rescue Tandi from the raiders"? "Destroy the source of the mutants"? "Become a porn star"? "Stop the Enclave"? This sounds more like things on a to-do list than actual quests. And these types of titles were kind of revived in the form of Fallout 4 radiant quests (eg. Trapper Attack on LOCATION NAME, Help Defend LOCATION NAME, Stop the raiding at LOCATION NAME, etc). I mean, there's hardly any flair to these titles compared to the quests in the FPS Fallout games. Why couldn't Interplay and Black Isle come up creative titles such as The Replicated Man, Aba Daba Honeymoon, or The Last Voyage of the USS Constitution? I know it's not that important of a detail, but I still believe that a proper RPG should have memorable quests with memorable titles. What do you guys think?
If I send Preston to Sanctuary, then I have the Operators take any settlement not near Preston, The Castle or any Minutemen Settlement... like if I have them take Starlight Drive-In, will Preston still be ok?
In New Vegas, whether I do my Ratslayer run through Black Mountain or not, I like to do the tutorial, Primms sheriff quest with Meyers, do the Mojave Outpost quests, do the Correctional facility quests pro inmates and then go back to Goodsprings and fight for the town. Then I do it traditionally.
I do this so I can bump up Powder Ganger fame to Mixed when I free the two at the one camp with Boone and have NCR hit squads on me to get their loot. Of course I do get back on the NCR good side before Boone and stay out of Powder Ganger territory til then.
So in the next game, no matter where it takes place, I think it would be so cool if a faction or settlement had a sort of post apocalyptic Olympics using power armor. Got the idea from Maximus in the Fallout show when he first gets his hands on the T-60 suit.
I think it’d be a fun twist for people to turn something that was meant for combat into something for sport. A quest or tutorial or whatever could run you through new mechanics through these sports that the player could later apply to other parts of the game like combat and traversals.
Thoughts?
What would it take to make a character that can walk across the Glowing Sea without the use of power armor and hazmat suits? What I mean is full armor weapons and gear and refreshing beverages are allowed. What level do you think you can handle this quest.
Over the past few weeks I’ve been pouring over the VDSG for Fallout 76, but one section of the book caught my attention. In the quest section there is only what I can assume to be a cut quest by the name of “The Rundown”, at first I was confused so I tried to follow the steps of the quest (mind you I’m level 141 and have already finished the main story) but had no success, eventually I contacted Bethesda support in a effort to figure out what the issue was, but was met with the standard “do this and if that doesn’t work do that and if that doesn’t work well then fuck you” treatment. So I now turn to the community, if any of you have even the smallest amount of info feel free to put it into the comments, Thanks
Hi I got problem with this quest because some bad decisions I made so I believe some can help me :D Im not member of White Glove Society. I opened the lock behind the bar in Gourmand but not detected. I didnt killed first two guys in basement with flamethrowers. I killed a guard in hallway whos patrol the basement. The problem is when I poison wine the waiter dont pick it up and leave but still searching for me. Ok so I killed Phillipe and released Ted. But when I go out everyone is hostile no matter if I leave basement the way I entered or another door. Killing guys with flamethrowers gave me negative reputation and they always detect me when I go back so I must kill them and when I go other way the door is forbiden for members only so they are hostile also. I will be glad for some tips.
I recently started this quest on my new (modded) playthrough, but instead of being sent to the coverga plant I was sent to Walden Pond. Anyone know if this is caused by a particular mod or if it’s just a bug?
Can you transfer the armor pieces (to another player or your other characters) after you applied the paint on them? you know, like blood eagle AGL paint, you can transfer the AGL after u applied the paint.
I’m doing another FNV run, and I’m trying to get to Level 15 or so before I enter The Strip. What are some beginner side quests in the game that I might be able to do pretty easily without drawing a whole lot of attention towards myself? I’ve looked at the wiki but not all of them fit the bill. By the way I’m doing a Mr. House run.
All in all, what are some easy side quests that I can access really easily before I enter The Strip. Also, Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁
Hi, in order to gain access to Mortimer, wiki i have to complete Secrets Revealed? But that is part of a quest chain, i can't trigger just this part of the chain. so i backtracked in the quests involved, and as per wiki, i end up at the start of The New Arrivals.
My question is, is there really no way to start somewhere later, as close as possible to Secrets Revealed. i'm trying to leave as much of the main quest undone as possible.
In your answer assume
-i'm over Level 50
-just walked out of Vault76
-haven't even spoken to Pennington yet.
Thanks in advance.
Hi, some daily events are labelled as 'Event Quests', i don't know maybe both an event and a daily quest combined... like Fly Swatter, Surface to Air, Cop A Squatter, but i cannot actively spawn some of them no matter how many times i try to hop and log into the supposed locations. some i have not done in ages..
How to spawn these events? Do i need to be at the location in character to spawn them? -
A. EG. i port my character to Firebase Major to trigger Surface to Air, or
B. Can i be anywhere EG. let's say i wait at Vault76, i check map and when i see the hexagon appear on main map i could just port there? meaning it triggers under other conditions
Do they spawn once per day or can spawn any number of times?
Do they spawn at a set real world time? for this i hope not- If this, how the F would a player know since there is no allotted timetable etc. 'World Activity' panel on Map only shows you what has already spawned. i would have to wait in game for 24 hours and check every 5 minutes or what

When you've acquired all 10 of the Eddie Winter holotapes, you will be directed to, "Talk to Nick," at which point, he takes the holotapes and temporarily stops following you, instead, he makes a mad dash to Andrew Station. Within Andrew Station, as the Wiki says, he runs straight into mines and every enemy. A handy workaround to this inconvenience is, after collecting the ten holotapes, don't talk to Nick just yet. Instead, take Nick to Andrew Station, clear it with him still following you, go right up to the door to Eddie Winter's room. Only then should you talk to Nick. He will take the holotapes and walk up to the keypad locked door. From here, the quest proceeds as normal, without having to chase after Nick while he runs over half a dozen mines.
I talked all three people (Loyal,Anderson,Sterling) but Raul will not talk to me to initiate the last part of his quest. He just keeps quiet.
I tried the setstage command but set "000e61a5" followed by either RepairTrack, GunSlingerTrack and MetPersonXYZ is not recognised by the console
Also the startconversation command also doesnt work? How does it work?
(startconversation player vDialogueRaulRaulTejadaTopic084)
Can anyone help me with the right console commands?

If I send companions or robots I build to an occupied settlement, can we take over that as the raiders?
I'm trying to complete The House Always Wins II, and to access the secret bunker in Caeser's territory I have to talk to some guy and row across the river, however whenever I approach from the main entrance I get shot on sight by guards, and whenever I approach from the ledge above it to get directly to him, he also shoots me on sight without letting me talk to him.
It says that Caeser's legion is neutral with me, and I am not wearing any faction armour (unless there's an faction that wears radiation suits which I just haven't met), and I haven't shot any of their soldiers either. My companions might of without me knowing, however I have no clue when they have, and to be sure I would have to go back about 5 hours of playtime, which I'm just not prepared to do.
My companions are Rex and Bonne (or whatever the Novac companion is called), both of which I have made to wait well out of the way of the cove, and I am allied with the NCR, so that might be the problem, however to undo all of the work I did to help the NCR just to get a quest done would be stupid, so I am happy to just ignore the quest if anything that drastic needs to happen. Thanks for any suggestions you might have
