Hi there! I have recently watched Fallout series and realised, that it is the explanation to everything that was going in Fallout world. New race and main civilization, stable government, new (relatively peaceful) country and even NEW VEGAS - everything is fated to fall out.
New Vegas in it's one and only pre-war glory had strong, independent rule, that kept all its citizens safe and as happy as possible in post-apocalyptic world, with all the canon efforts of such persons as Courier - even it absolutely destroyed and became graveyard.
Was there a hidden sense about the real world like in Oppenheimer film, that there's no hope for humanity to prosper at all?
And also iconic "war never changes", does it mean that later or sooner all factions in the world will be destroyed and nothing will left, except some survivors?
What do you think?

Personally, I think they should have let us fast travel to each part of the Strip. (after getting in, of course.) Just a little tired of having to walk just to get to a specific location on the Strip.
I was playing NV I went to go gamble but then I lost 8 games of blackjack with luck at 10 how is this happening

A feature of the House endings is that they insinuate that House's reign is "oppressive" and "cruel".
But... Is he really? I mean we see House's rule first hand throughout the game, and it's pretty hands-off. He collects a hefty sum in taxes, and only people with a passport can enter... But that's it really. As we can evidently see in-game, House doesn't really care about interfering in day-to-day lives. The only possible "oppressing" is by the Securitrons, who again, don't seem to be that oppressive. We see an example where a bunch of drunk NCR citizens are dancing in a fountain, yet the Securitrons don't shoot them. All they do is tell them off until some NCR MPs show up.
So the Strip exterior is pretty much just orderly, not "oppressed". So where's the oppression? Inside the casinos? Certainly not, as House and his Securitrons don't even go inside the casinos, again confirmed by his own dialogue. He's a man of his word too... Somewhat to a fault here, as while most of the Tops are ok, Benny is planning to overthrow him, the Omertas are amassing a stockpile of WMDs, and the White Gloves are eating their guests. So again, no one's getting oppressed there, unless they are doing it to themselves.
Really as far as we can tell, House just has two rules: If your too poor you can't come in, and, be civilized. Now the first one is contentious, but you could very easily argue it's within his rights. He built Vegas, He owns Vegas, and he doesn't want a bunch of squatters on his property, dirtying up the place as that violates his second rule. And that I think is where really House's big problem is. He is old fashioned and not really a people person, so he just kinda expects people to act reasonably, by Pre-War standards. But wastelanders who don't know these standards, never growing up with them, would probably view them as "oppressive" when House forces them onto the wastelanders. Not only does it hurt his PR, but also this also really does explain why things got out of hand in Vegas, as House just expected the Families to be civilized people... When really they mostly aren't, with the exception of the Tops, he kinda lucked out on those.

I am doing the beyond the beef quest and cant seem to get marjorie to sponsor me as an honorary member, how can I become the "talk of the town" as she said?
I’ve had New Vegas for years but more recently I’ve started to look into the lore that carried in from Fallout 2. I was curious as to what other potential events/stories you guys could see happening in New Vegas. I’ve always imagined a Strip-wealthy courier helping rebuild and encourage a more trafficked Freeside. Let me know below!

So, I'm trying to figure out G.I Blues, but want to confront Benny quicker. However, I can't seem to find a Passport at Mick and Ralph's store. Neither has one in their store. How do I go about getting a passport from them? I'm on PC.
