This is not a post about it's story role, more so about the artistic, visual representation of the town as it was shown in the Fallout TV Show and what your thoughts on it was. We do see a brief flashback of it in its prime but if you include the outro credits and the chalkboard we see a lot of what the town had to offer.
Shady Sands had:
- Functioning Tramlines
- Clean Water
- Courthouse
- Government Building
- Elementary School
- Public Library
- Ancient Well (From Fallout 1)
- Inscribed Obelisk (From Fallout 1)
- Cornfields
Overall, what did you think of the aesthetic? Did you like the look of the NCR Capital or did you wish it was different?
It seems like the BoS ending is canon, meaning Liberty Prime is active. However, he's just kinda, roaming around the Commonwealth now. I understand why the NCR base probably didn't warrant the use of Prime, but was he just taken apart and stored in the Prydwen? What do you guys think?

After watching the trailer and seeing the NCR not looking so good after new Vegas I don't think the NCR ending is canon in fallout new Vegas so what do u all think is canon for fallout new Vegas
I'm very interested to know if the NCR is appearing in the Fallout TV Show. Since the show is based in the West Coast and by extent New California they should be there. The article on this wiki says they are but I cannot find a direct source for that
On a different note. Since the story takes place nearly fifteen years after New Vegas. What elements (if any) do you hope to see or at least be made reference to? For example a Caesar's Legion reference. Or references to the earlier Interplay games such as the Master.
So one question i have is, are there any sources on how the NCR managed to get enough poppies to be comfortable giving one to Crocker of all people.
Jackals. The ones on the road to Nipton, you know them, right? They're sticking some people up and you'll (usually inevitably) come across them and directly or indirectly save their victims. Well, because of my stealth build I was planning on getting up close and personal before I fired at them. However, what I didn't account for was the NCR hit squad that happened to be on a collision course with the group. A couple of in-game hours ago I shot up the Mojave Outpost and sold everything not nailed down for a while and finally made my way to Nipton. Of course, I had gotten vilified by the NCR for this, and they sent that one girl scout to tell me "u wer meen 2 us b nice".
The Jackals didn't stand a chance. I was looting the house and some of their buddies opposite of the stick-up, and then there were gunshots. It lasted like 15 seconds at the most before it stopped and I saw that lady ranger hopping the crest to my location. I fast traveled away, but I should've just led them to Vulpes.
Why does the NCR flag have a 2 headed bear? It’s not like the flag was based on an animal in fallout as the Yao Guai have one head. (I know it’s based on the California flag but why the 2 heads?)
