Okay so here's how the happy trails caravan expedition went:
>go to cave
>quicksave, shoot the idiot with a pip boy, quickload
>go in
>white legs (I think) ambush
>watch all my friends die in front of me
>thousandyardstare.jpeg
>whatever, war never changes.
>keep going, kill a few more white legs on the way
>get to waterfall with white legs chasing me
>Daniel auto locks on me
>I kill Daniel through the magic of quicksaving and hiding on a rock
>collect some stuff, including the .45 auto smg (best weapon in game)
>leave
What the hell did I do wrong? Where's the funny Christian man? I literally just followed the compass markings and this is what happened. Does this mean I need to expect god to do all the work?
In honest hearts dlc, is it possible to kill the white legs fast enough that at least one person doesn't have his skull blown off? Sure as hell would help during the rest of everything.
I usually do it like this
Dead Money: 25-30
Honest Hearts: 35
Old World Blues: 40
Lonesome Road: 45-50

I decided to go on a hunting trip in Ziom, but i don't know where will my base would be.
Please enlighten me
(I don't think I'm allowed to use the C-word)
The 22 Vaulters did some horrendously messed up deeds in Zion. And I just don't see the connection. Even if some of the inhabitants that escaped did turn into spore carriers, there were plenty in the group that remained human. So, I don't see why they would need to resort to such heinous actions.
I know Honest Hearts was made in a very short span of time. Therefore it really lacks a lot of content. Still I really like it. Something about roaming the wilds of Zion and the nature really excites me. What can be done to improve this DLC if they ever remake it? In my opinion, the option to join White Legs should be allowed. Maybe another Vault should be added whose residents play a key role in the main quest line. The caves of Survivalist should be integrated in the main quest line because I think everyone should experience that masterpiece of writing. Maybe if you choose Joshua Grahame, you are able to set up traps and choose a method of attack, like either drawing them out and clearing their camps and setting out animals to demoralise them or a full on assault at their camps. To make it feel as if we are actually fighting a war
When it comes to this enigmatic character of the Mojave, opinions are pretty strong on both ends of the spectrum, with people split on whether to love him or hate him.
The hate in particular is fairly widespread, and I'd love to see what people think about him and his ideals. What do y'all like about Ulysses? Don't like? I'd be interested in seeing what everyone thinks, and how willing people are to hear different perspectives that counter their own.
I'll start this off by saying that Ulysses provided an important parallel to our own character, the Courier. We aren't the only ones frolicking across the wastes, changing history for better or worse. We follow in the footsteps of this force of nature throughout most of the DLCs, and regardless of how we deal with him in the end, we are forced to acknowledge our part in helping set the future of the Mojave, and the consequences of our actions.

In the Fallout: New Vegas DLC Honest Hearts, if the Courier has the Wild Wasteland Perk, he can find a character named Two-Bears-High-Fiving, his name is reference to a mod that adds the option to say that what most people see in the inkblot test.

She liked the Riot Gear armors a lot, she LOVED ED-E and she loved learning about Ulysses... despite dozing off sometimes during his long conversations or holotapes. We ended up saving ED-E, killing Ulysses and stopping the nukes. ED-E sacrificing himself and Ulysses giving us a gift after death made it bittersweet. Probably gonna start the roleplay characters next visit.
Her favorite DLCs and reasoning:
1 - Old World Blues
Had all the humor, learning about Elijah, the Sierra Madre and Christine's past as well as the Think Tanks past as humans. Plus it had a lot of exploring.
2 - Dead Money
Loves the companion characters SO much, the history between Vera, Dean and Sinclair and the mystery of it all.
3 - Lonesome Road
Loves ED-E 2, Riot Gear, exploring the destoryed area and Ulysses logs
4 - Honest Hearts
LOVED Randall Clark and found Graham cool.

So I’m finishing up Honest Hearts, I’m at the point just before what I assume is the end of the DLC. I’m on my way to a tunnel, I think it’s called Pike Creek or Pine Creek Tunnel. My game is currently off right now, so I’m not 100% sure on the location and quest names. Anyway, my save point is just around the bend up the road from Salt Upon Wounds, right before you get ambushed by White Legs on your way to the Tunnel. Everything was mostly fine the first time I got to S-U-W and I almost was able to speak to Daniel but the game crashed. Everytime after that however, something has gone wrong. Either Daniel will be intangible (i.e. I walk right through him and can’t interact) or I begin falling through the ground, where I’m not on the pavement or the dirt underneath but constantly hopping between the two. When the latter happens it’s like collision is off and I’m able to run through walls and up vertical surfaces.
Anyone who’s read my nonsense before knows I love mods. The only mods, besides weapon mods, that I think even have a slight effect on Honest Hearts are my JIP Companion Command & Control mod which allows for up to 16 companions and a mod that allows me to travel to Honest Hearts with my companions. I don’t see how those would cause this though.
My guess is it’s some kind of cell loading issue. I’m away from the game now, but a solution I was considering was going literally anywhere else on the map for a bit and coming back and seeing if it loaded properly. Fast travel is currently not allowed from my current location but I think that’s a result of the quest.
Anyway, if that doesn’t work, I will have to console command my way through the end of the quest. Was just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem as well or if I’m alone.
Idk how I keep finding new and interesting ways to break these games lol.
