Fallout 4 companions

I remember several years ago that I used red rocket truck stop as one, and my brother used Egret Tours Marina as one too, though now I use the Castle for the companions

I need as many Automatron mods for xbox as possible. I need to create the perfect beings to scour the devestsed world, this is worse than a chems addiction.

[Edit: i found him randomly in the red rocket settlement? but he wasnt counted in the settler count for some reason] Is there any way to fix the glitch where nick disappears after dangerous minds? or would you need to reload a save before he disappeared ? (ps4)

I'm working on my fourth game in FO4 and I still can't take any companions down into the vault with me. It hasn't worked at all other than during my first playthrough.

Anyone know what's wrong and how I can fix it?

I never gave it much thought until now, but how can a dog track one man halfway across Boston? It's obviously more believable with the bloody rags, but with cigars? I doubt Kellogg is the only cigar smoker in Boston. Hell, I myself am a fairly heavy cigar smoker. How can the first lead be considered reliable? Even on such a small scale, Boston is still a big place in Fallout 4.

I’m having a problem where Kit is constantly taking out her knife, although she is not equipped with one, and she will not follow. I’ve seen this mentioned elsewhere online but can’t find a fix (and loading an old save would lose 24 hrs of gameplay so I’d rather not do that). Does anyone know how to fix this? It’s disappointing because she’s a good companion. I had her before and uninstalled her mod by accident, so am doing it again just to get her back. Argh.
