Hey hey! Its time for Vault Vfriday, and this vault is dear to my heart. I have autism and loved the page on disability in the fallout series (will be getting Maul ASAP). So I made a feel-good vault with a disability theme. Is disability the right word? Dunno, still gonna use it.
Name: Vault 43
Description: This vault was proposed and overseen by Vault-Tec employee Erik. Erik came to his supervisors with a vault where 90% of residents had a disability of some kind and the other 10% were helpers, the experiment was to see if those with disability's would survive worse or better in the wastes then people without. This, however, was not the real reason Erik wanted this vault. Erik's son had autism, and the thought of him being tested on, alone in the wastes, or worse terrified Erik. So he made a vault with no experiment other then being a safe haven for those with disability's to wait out the war. The results were great. Everybody in the vault did fine. Eventually food ran low and groups were sent out to search the wastes. Eventually the vault residents, missing fresh air and the sun, made a base outside the front of the vault. This base expanded into a town, a true place in the wastes where everybody is accepted.
