There’s been plenty of polls surrounding who a user should side with or who’s the best hope for a piece of the wastes. But let’s ask the question of who deserves it the most.

There’s the courier, who will likely go through countless deaths and trials to make a difference in the Mojave. And you do make a difference in the Mojave. But, are you really qualified to rule? Oh sure, independent ending means every man for themselves, but you have control over the strip. Keep in mind, you have no experience running a nation, much less a gang. The minds of Big MT are easier to command because they’re insane, but normal wastelanders will have varying opinions on you. Not to mention, you accidentally got a settlement blown up.

The Legion, backwards, bigoted, slaughters tribes for fun. But they have stabilized the east(though those under their rule aren’t free), and have lost many lives in the war for the Mojave. And Caesar does admit that the Legion needs to change its diet of rape, pillage, and burn before it collapses on itself.

Then there’s Mr. House, the man who saved the mojave(for the most part). He runs New Vegas like a business, which is a pretty rough translation of proper politics(ignore his characterization in the tv show). And he does think far ahead, but his dreams may very well be pipe dreams.

And finally, the NCR. One of the most powerful factions in the wastes, often weighed down by bureaucracy and expansion. But their ending is the only way the BOS can survive(or not turn into high tech raiders), and not everyone in the NCR is evil, most of them are just looking for a purpose. And the NCR have lost a lot of people in the war.

Also, I think I should make it clear that anyone who thinks the ending they like is the golden ending is kidding themselves. NV was designed so that no faction is perfect, and that there’s no perfect ending.

So, who do you guys think deserves to rule?
