I collect power armor as well, but I never really use it except when I'm going into the Glowing Sea.

My SS turned out to be claustrophobic after her time in the Vault. Power armor is a collectible (and tinker-toy like the Atom Cats), but never actually used. Even for the Glowing Sea it's a haz-mat suit.
