In the second one, the 2 box is meant to say "Knowing that doing mission Fire Support gives you a bunch of fusion cores, and you know to fix the armor."

The power armor suit is easy to fix up. Just find a bunch of scrap around sanctuary and then theres the suit fully functional. Of course fusion cores will have to be found elsewhere.
