In all Honesty Preston isn't a character I find compelling. Minutemen was underdeveloped, and his character should've had more flaws like his personal grudge against maybe the Gunners to the point he nearly loses his own morals by sending Minutemen and women into the fray in hopes of personally killing the leader. Just raid a non-minutemen settlement and your good, and use diplomacy... hopefully that works most of the time... but I claimed every settlement before hand so that wont work for me :(
Preaton turns on you, and the whole minutemen begins to go on a massacre on every settlement you ever liberated previously. They have turned into the 60 second boys as a counter
You can just turn on the raiders later and he kinda forgives you. It’s worth it for the perks, look them up and try to fit them to what works for your favorite weapons. I always ignore the disciples in favor of the pack and operator perks so I can make Throatslicer and The Last Minute even deadlier.
Then after you add damage to your favorite weapons, you’ll have lots of dipshit raiders to use for target practice!
