Some people buy into the safety and stability bs the Legion claims to provide. The roads are safer with the Legion in charge. Except that you’ll never be able to travel freely down said roads because under the Legion you’ll be enslaved…

I'm actually legit confused what you guys are talking about, I played Fallout 4 I don't remember this talk about Legion. Is this a Fallout 76 thing? I didn't play that game couldn't get into it.

It's a Fallout New Vegas thing.

If your only Fallout game is Fallout 4, you should absolutely pick up Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. They're both available on Steam or backwards compatible on consoles. They can be annoying to get working properly though. In my experience, the advantage of PC is that you get mods, while the advantage of console is that it's a lot easier to get working and (in my experience!) a lot more stable.

I played Fallout 3 a long time ago, honestly it's been so long that I don't really remember everything in the story, I remember a giant robot I think at the end of the story, but I wasn't really into Fallout 3 all that much, I've played Fallout 4 a crap time though and modded the hell out of my game, but I can understand if it came from Fallout 3 and that's why I don't know what you guys are talking about, all right well it makes sense now.

Yeah, Liberty Prime is in Fallout 3, and also in Fallout 4. New Vegas is a spin-off that takes place on the west coast, in the Mojave desert.

I also remember trying to play new vegas, but I had a hard time getting into that one I don't even think I beat that one honestly, I like the location I like the premise but I couldn't get into it for some reason, I think at the time there was possibly a better game that I was distracted by and I just never came back to it for whatever reason.

But that was back when I had an Xbox and I didn't have a PC, gaming the hell of a whole lot more fun when I learned how to mod my Bethesda games, I never did go back to trying to play older fallouts though, I'm a controller player even on PC, it's hard as hell to get a freaking controller to work for the older games cuz they just didn't have that kind of support back then, yeah that was only like available on the Xbox or whatever.

I only played them and "enjoy them" b3caus3 they are a vague but big faction that has yet to be flushed out. But overall I wouldn't trust a Legion as far as a pre-war American can comprehend communism isn't the biggest threat of the world. It ain't good. Legion members msot often times than not are threatening(literally threatening the player) about stringing them up, gutting them, cut out their tongue and other cliche generic threats. A society so quick to react or have members like that is a held back one.

Main drawbacks-Overall you would have to be a fully able(no disabilities, health defects, or disorders that causes one to be held back), male, genetically privilaged to survive the conditions, and also lucky to be in a good position most likely in Legion rule/occupation.

And thats just leaving out the gender strict societal expectations(men strong must be fit to fight and be healthy, women msut be kept away used for "homecare" and objects for males and reproducing) and the slavery and you must prove yourself in slavery to get anywhere. But mainly it is also just luck.

The luck part is depending on WHO is in charge someone who is lets say Schizophrenic(or the stereotype psycho who is very cunning and dangerous) whom is dangerous in a fight will have potential and won't be killed for attacking a Legion patrol. OR Will be made an example of and show those who show signs of the Schizophrenic behavior will be treated like a plague and hunted. A "purest" if you will. Vulpes and Lanius both had situations in "normal" circumstances would lead to imprisonment, discharge, or execution.
