I didn't realise until after that Tactics wasteland is called "The Belt".

^ Actually I think the Belt is only part of the Tactics wasteland areas. I think it’s the area with Gamorrin’s Army. One of the cutscenes mentions that

Everything else about the game aside, Appalachia is really beautiful. Each region has its own unique characteristics.

There's only one wasteland: The Wasteland.

Everything else is just a region of it.

^The setting for Tactics is just called "the Midwest" (it occupies parts of the pre-war Midwest and Plains Commonwealths).

Because I didn't play Fallout 76, I can't really say that I would like to go in that one, however I've seen people play it and I got to say that it's a wonderful amazing looking place, it's just too bad the game sucks balls, if that game was single player I'd probably like it a little bit better, but they decide to make it a stupid online multiplayer garbage that I don't want to touch with a 40 ft pool.

For me, favourite game is new vegas, but map and terrain wise has to be Appalacia with being the most diverse landscape

None of these felt more post apocalyptic than fallout 1 and 3. Makes them the best

New California. While obviously we see it only like >90 years after the bombs dropped, it looks much more apocalyptic and how a nuclear aftermath would actually look. In the commonwealth most buildings are still standing (even though any city or town would be vaporized off the map, save for any underground structures). The Capital Wasteland. Yeah, Washington D.C. should be wiped off the map.
