Take the northern route to New Vegas, all the cool kids are doing it.
Whatever you do. and if you have the dead money DLC, try to finish it at the sorta end through your playthrough.
Thanks guys :)
I’ll try not to give a lot of spoilers but I’ll tell ya this: don’t try to go north from Goodsprings (the town you start in) to Vegas. Just trust me…
The game kinda points you along a southern route out of Goodsprings and you’ll want to follow it since you’ll only encounter low level enemies.
Talk to every NPC you can, there’s a lot of good info and quests to be got from talking to people.
Go to that place called "Quarry Junction"
Its the most functional settlement, its worth a visit
Go to a quest marker labeled "The Reunion," that's a fun quest to start when you've just started the game and have no idea what you're doing. I'm speaking from experience.
In a nutshell, the reason why you should go there is it's ridiculously easy to get top-tier weapons and armor from there, as well as more caps and materials than you know what to do with.
Go north of the starting town Goodsprings, there’s a great stash of loot in a place called Quarry Junction
Be weary of bugs, and save often. Have multiple saves. This game will test your patience with how glitchy it is. It's like a really nice truck, it looks nice, it feels nice to use, but the fucker is constantly breaking down
Investing skill points in speech will make the game a lot easier overall.
Do everything. Don’t settle on just beating the game but try to do ever quest that comes your way as you’ll only have one first play through.
What do you think?
