If I rated them based on reviews of people I respect as well as my own experiences.
1 New Vegas (glitchy but amazing and so replayable)
2 Fallout 2 (the finished masterpiece I may not have the stomach to play)
3 Fallout 3 (flawed and not much effort story or character wise, but fun to explore)
4 Fallout 1 (the start of all if limited and I may never play)
5 Fallout 4 (mostly held up by graphics and new mechanics, not story)
6 Fallout Shelter (if you like a game that needs your attention like a tamagotchi and just wants to take your money little by little, you're in luck)
7 Fallout 76 (What a trainwreck. Entire first year of its existence is full of disappointment and controversy. Glad its finally been getting better for people)
Kinda don't care about the spin offs to be frank. I know 1 is better than the other and I recall one in Texas and the other in Chicago.
