The NCR needs a lot of help along the eastern side of the map. Forlorn Hope, Astor’s Crew at Searchlight, Bitter Springs, Camp Golf, lot of quests around those areas that I like to do early. Most of the NCR’s forces deployed on the frontlines are bogged down and running out of options, they could all use some help. As you get further up north, Camp McCarran is a vessel for a lot of great quests. And of course, once you reach Freeside and Vegas, you’ll have more quests there than you know what to do with!

Also, not sure how far you’re into it, but I can vouch for Come Fly With Me if you’re unsure of it! Love that quest and it’s certainly got some interesting characters.

^^ Yeah, and if you complete G.I. Blues for the Kings, you can use the King's favor to gain entrance to the Strip for free.

Yeah I gotta agree with DJ, Come Fly With Me is a cool, unique quest.

@The Appalachian For clarification purposes, entering the Strip is free. You just gotta have 2000 caps on your person which is easy.

I thought so, that's why I specified. Bypass it via the Rail line, 80 science or Ralph's little get-in-the-strip-for-money card.

If you tire of side quests and haven’t reached the desired level yet, killing Powder Gangers is pretty easy, if meager XP. They respawn pretty quickly and you can sell the loot and get some caps. Killing Bighorners is another good way too, lots of herds around the Mojave. Or doing an easier DLC like Honest Hearts wouldn’t be a bad idea either

^All good suggestions. When I did my crazy "play all the DLCs for the XP and base game loot and uninstall it and play the base game" run I always reached Novac and used it as my player home. I would go around to the areas with random enemies and get XP killing them. Ghouls, ants, Radscorpions, geckos when I felt like it, it may not seem like much but it adds up and can be fun sometimes.

Helping out the people in Freeside or helping out the Boomers might be a good choice. The Boomers are an isolated society so you wouldn't be drawing attention to yourself elsewhere. The only really tricky part that people complain about is getting blown to smithereens by the artillery, but I've always hugged the left cliff face and sprinted down that way in one go, and I've never died doing it.

You do get quite a bit of attention doing the Freeside quests, but it just means other people in Freeside know about you and sometimes give nice comments or give you gifts. You also stop getting attacked by random thugs eventually. If you want to spare all of the companions, don't hand Cass over to the Van Graffs.

Once you've gotten acquainted with the Boomers, take Veronica with you and go to Hidden Valley. The Brotherhood have a few long, drawn out quests but apart from the Vaults quest they consist of "go there, pick that up" or "travel here, talk to this guy". They offer decent XP.

If you have Veronica with you, you can outfit her in the Brotherhood T-51b you'll no doubt pick up. It's also one of the only two roads to acquiring Power Armour Training so the sooner you do it the sooner you get to use PA, if you so choose.

There are some fairly simple quests at the Mojave Outpost on the bottom left of the map.

The Crimson Caravan Company have some fairly simple quests as well.

If you don’t wants use quests there are some exploits like the Angela Williams xp glitch, which is after there stands the grass,there’s also Jack in the Great Khans who has an do glitch as well, but that is in for the republic part 2 or wild card or something and thats beyond level 15.
