Australia would be really fun to see, with their kangaroos, various spiders, bugs, and other animals. Plus we'd get out of America, see what's going on with another part of the world. The culture would change a lot too, allowing different technology, organizations, mutated creatures, and the like

^ I don't think we'll ever get an answer to that since it's a very sensitive topic. If we do get a game in New York they could simply avoid it by saying the twin towers were never built in the Fallout timeline.

Well, there is discussion about it in Fallout, but it would seem that the Middle Easterners picked the slightly closer target of Europe, rather than America.
