I briefly ran one as a quasi-dm. Nothing special, mostly just me nerding out over lore without any systems but judgment, but it was fun.

Not really a roleplaying person so I've never tried it.

I sort of did a play through in NV to try it but I didn't find as entertaining as just doing whatever I wanted in the moment

Nah, not really my thing. I would not be opposed to trying some sort of DND style Fallout table top or homebrew (dependent entirely on how much I trust the game master), but online? Not really my thing. Closest I have come is the ongoing series that Cake has put on, that's a little bit of a choose your own adventure... until other people out vote you and the protagonist gets a little murder happy.
