For my first playthrough, I chose the Brotherhood, except Fallout 4 crashes so much that I gave up all hope of beating it.

I've chosen all of them, but my first playthrough I chose the Minutemen.

Minutemen

I chose the BOS because I just kinda love them.

I got all four endings, starting with Institute, then Railroad, then Brotherhood, then Minutemen. I'm pretty sure you'll need to get all four endings in order to get all the main story achievements.

Depends on what platform I’m playing on (Xbox or PS4) and what mods I have installed. Most of the time I go with the peaceful Minutemen ending on PS4 and the Brotherhood ending (with Danse Dilemma installed and Danse becoming Elder) on Xbox One.
