Im genuinely surprised Pistols/Revolvers are leading so far, I figured most people would go for Ballistic Long Guns. Glad too see there are more than a few gunslingers amongst us lol

Only reason im sniper exclusively is because of the amr's explosive rounds

If I ever have the option for Power Armor or miniguns in a game then I'm taking that route! Luckily for me Fallout offers both :D Heavy guns and even heavier armor lol

Two words: Energy Sniper.

I try to snipe when possible, if I can pull an Obi-wan Kenobi and get the High Ground I will and use it to snipe as many enemies as possible.

However, there's a lot of times where sniping isn't really possible, so then I usually pack a rifle or smg for close ranges. If I'm dealing with hostile wildlife, or foes like ghost people, I'll use a melee weapon though to save ammo.

I don't really specialize, but I don't really use shotguns or heavy melee weapons all that much

I can’t really pick one. They broth have there pros and cons. But I have been using energy weapons lately so I would say energy weapons and sniping

I tried to be a sniper once, but it’s not the same as being up close and hammering a thousand bullets into a crowd of enemies trying to land a single blow. Plus I’m bad at sneaking

Me I like to lay waste to my enemies with a hail of bullets, laser or plasma bolts in the form of heavy weapons.

Sniper energy weapons. In Fallout 4, I usually convert the UP77 Limitless Potential and/or Righteous Authority to an overcharged laser sniper rifle.
