Which really is the most advanced mass produced Power Armor?

Both the T-51 and the T-60 claim to be the peak of Pre-War power armor engineering. But which one really is more advanced?

Proof towards T-51:

The T-51 is made from advanced composite materials, as opposed to the T-60, which as far as we know, is steel plating welded on to the steel plating of the T-45.

The T-51 has a much more rounded shape, and overall looks more like a potential predecessor to the X-01 than the T-60.

Is more expensive than the T-60, which in general suggests more advanced tech went into it.

Proof for T-60:

The T-60 came out after the T-51. The T-51 came out in late 2076, and the T-60 in mid 2077.

The T-60 is a bit tougher than the T-51.

The Tesla T-60 shows that it may have been the first Power Armor to have been developed with this feature. A feature that was mainly used on the various Enclave armors.

X01 was always post war invention of Enclave...until 4 decided to throw it in Boston as leveled loot without any mention of Enclave then put it in nuka world as explicitly prewar

^ Duh. Instead of going to the Control Station Enclave they went to protect all the gold in a vault because gold is definitely still useful in a post apocalypse. To back a currency. That'll solve alot.

This is about the most advanced one before the apocalypse, that you would actually see on soldiers before the war.

Fallout 4 has messed up so much lore I don’t even know we’re to start. As of fallout 3 enclave power armor was the most advanced mass produced for the enclave. Before that brotherhood used t-45. While the t51b being extremely rare and prototyped. Now we have t 60 which I guess the brotherhood could of made but I doubt they could find that many suits since even just t45 is rare enough and t 51 only having 2 suits.In nv I believe the brotherhood use t45 and t51 commonly and in fallout 4 is were things for power armor got messed up. T60 is the most used and advanced at this time however makes no sense unless the brotherhood made it and upgraded it themselves. Even then the resources and manufacturing would be insane to mass produce these suits post war. For every soldier we should of seen t 45 being the standard armor in fallout 4 with t 51 being used for higher ranks or when the t 45 not being enough and t 60 should be only for elite special force squads. It would have made getting t60 satisfying if you had to work you’re way up to paladin to even get close to getting that armor.

T 51 winterized power armor would have been the pre war power armor used in anchorage Alaska it was the americas super weapon that ended up changing the tide of the war into americas favor.

Yes.

The T-51 is the most advanced independently designed, mass produced suit, pre war suit.

The T-60 was slightly better in terms of protection but is a derivative of the T-45, and lacked some nifty features and ergonomics. It was produced alongside the more expensive T-51.

X-01 and T-65 were more advanced but were never mass produced or were of an intentionally limited run with the former being developed and improved into Enclave APA 1 & 2.

At least that's my head cannon.
