While using a shotgun, you have a 10% chance, per pellet, to knock an enemy back. Note that this perk actually knocks down the enemy rather than sending them flying as the description suggests, similar to Super Slam! for melee attacks.
The weapons affected by this perk are the same as those affected by the Shotgun Surgeon perk, namely:
- Caravan shotgun
- Hunting shotgun
- Dinner Bell
- Lever-action shotgun
- Riot shotgun
- Sawed-off shotgun
- Single shotgun

- Since this perk checks per pellet, slug rounds and 4/0 buck are less likely to knockdown an opponent, and standard, high-pellet shells are the most likely to trigger the perk.
- As with the Shotgun Surgeon perk, this perk does not affect the sturdy caravan shotgun.
